The Oil Yield Is Lower Than Expected In Peru's 2nd Fishing Season

The 2nd fishing season of Peru in 2024 officially started on November 1, with the quota of 2.51 million tons. Currently, the actual harvest already reaches more than 50% of the quota.

In this fishing season, the proportion of juvenile harvest is far higher than the control line of 10%. As a result, the actual oil yield is less than 2%, far lower than the 3.5% in the 1st fishing season this year.

This fishing season is expected to end before mid-January 2025.
